BUSINESS TOURISM AND MICE TOURISM: DEFINITIONS, PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT.

Abstract


There days, the tourist sector hashigh growth rates, which are particularlycaused by the inclusion of new perspectivesof tourism. One of them is business /MICE-tourism, which has appeared in Europerecently, but has already managed totake a decent niche in the tourism market. Ingeneral business tourism can be consideredwithin its two vectors: to see the world (exhibitions,workshops, tours and holidays)- MICE and to show yourself (business negotiations,presentations of own productsand services). High rates of its developmentdetermine, first of all, the globalization ofthe world economy and «erasing borders».The businessmen are increasingly seekingand finding business partners abroad. Butstarting a similar trip, they want not onlyto attend an the exhibition, a seminar or aconference - they are looking for new opportunitiesfor their business. Under these conditions, there is a need to study its specificfeatures and management peculiarities,trends and direction vectors. Therefore, thearticle thoroughly studies the research andanalysis of the nature of MICE-tourism. Thepractice and experience of the market leadersin this segment have been studied, majorproblems of development have been revealed.Solutions to transform the businesstourism in a highly profitable branch industryare also suggested in the above article.
