ORGANIZATION AND WAYS OF IMPROVING PROCESS OF PROVIDING HOUSEHOLD SERVICES IN HOTELS.

Abstract


The process of providing householdhotel services affecting the developmentof the hotel industry in Ukraine isexplored in the article. The process ofproviding household services at the hotel«Nadiya» in Ivano-Frankivsk is analyzed.Ways of improving the process ofproviding services aiming to increasecompetitiveness of Ukrainian hotels aredefined.The authors pay attention to theprocess of providing variety of basic andadditional services defined as the level ofhotel rate and its specialization. It isimportant for hospitality industry to havea system of certification of hotel services.Household, economic and cultural needsand demands of guests are increasingconstantly. That determines the need todevelop new services in hotels and searchfor new ideas and technologies. The authorsgive proposals for improving qualityof hotel household services.Advertising is considered one of thetools, techniques and methods aimed atimplementing household services.The article analyzes international experiencethat reflects the need to form anetwork of specialized companies with anarrow range of services oriented to aparticular category of tourists. However,in providing services not only theirquantity, but also their quality is important.The level of service guest servicequality determines the hotel’s image, so itbecomes more attractive for guests andmore successful. It contributes to materialprosperity of a hotel. It turns out that providinghousehold hotel services comparedto European and international standardsneeds to be improved. And that requires acomprehensive modernization of hotel’smaterial and technical base, investmentand government support.
