Abstract


The article is devoted to topicalissues of international tourism exhibitionevents in the modern world. Currently,different countries in the world annuallyhost dozens of international tourismfairs, exhibitions, exchanges that help toenhance the credibility of enterprises,gain experience and professional contacts,increase skills of workers. It also contributesto forming public opinion on participatingcompanies, demonstrating the overallachievements of enterprises in theirrelations with customers, competitors, financialbodies and media.The authors have selected qualitativecriteria for the classification of internationalexhibition events in the field of tourism.The study discusses and systematizesthe individual quantitative indicators ofleading international and domestic tourismevents in 2016.
