THE ROLE OF EVENT TOURISM RESOURCES OF IVANO-FRANKIVSK REGION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AND GREEN TOURISM.

Abstract


The article analyzesthe impact of event tourist resources, namelyfestivals, artistic holidays, religious ritualsand others for development of rural andgreen tourism in Ivano-Frankivsk region.Ivano-Frankivsk region is one of thoseregions of Ukraine which has identifi edtourism development as a priority. Moreover,tourism in this time and age is seen bythe authorities at the local level as a branchof management, but not the sphere of activity.The latter, as a rule, should be understoodmainly as a number of measures, perhapsof a systemic nature, which are executed,however, in a self-employed manner, at theexpense of the initiative of the performersthemselves.An important component of developmentof tourism in the province is conservationand use with cognitive, emotional andsensory purpose of objects of cultural andhistorical heritage, which forms the basisfor so-called cultural or cultural-educationaltourism.Of particular importance in today’s conditionsis the study of the state of developmentof recreational and tourist resourcesdetermining the ways of their optimal use inthose regions of the territory where varioustypes of tourism are actively developing andwhere this industry is identifi ed as one ofthe main branches of industry. Particularlypromising for today is the development ofeventful tourism throughout Ukraine.It is interesting that the majority of thesemeasures are usually ethnographic and carriedout on the territory of a village or aunited territorial community belonging toa particular ethnographic area, which is importantfor socio-economic development ofthe local area and the locals in general
