About the emotionalattitude of Germans and Poles tothe same patch of land (concept, choice,co-authorship Zbigniew Czarnuch, Witnica-Gorzów 2013) as an example of one of theways of viewing localities of today’s Lubuskievoivodship; localities that in the secondhalf of the 1940s were included in Polandas the result of the Yalta-Potsdam arrangements. As a result of great migrations inthe second half of the 1940s, new culturalsystems were created in these areas, creatingnew borderlands. The way of describingthe melting pot of cultures area presentedin the Self-Proclaimed Consulates promptsto supplement the existing theoretical analyzesthat classify the methods of borderlineinterpretation. This article consists oftwo parts: the fi rst one presents the conceptof Self-Proclaimed Consulates; the secondpresents a proposal to supplement the theoreticalclassifi cations of the reception ofborderland cultures. The enunciation uses ameta-language and the concept of ‚borderland’,which I proposed in the monographThe Literature of the Place. PostlandsbergWritings. (Gorzów Wielkopolski 2017). Thisstudy analyzes the literature of one of thenew borderlands termed Postlandsberg literature. It consists of texts created when thetown of Landsberg an der Warthe was occupiedby the Soviet army and in the midst ofbeing transformed into the Polish-languageGorzów. This literature (in the broad sense)is a testimony to the formation of images ofplace at a moment of transformation.
